Becoming a Reviewer

Peer-review in the publication of any biomedical journal is critical to the quality of the work published and ultimately to the reputation and success of the journal. We appreciate your interest in reviewing for JPPT. To begin the process, you will need to:

• Register as a reviewer in our electronic database. To do this please go to https://www.editorialmanager.com/jppt where you can register and get a user name and password.
• Personal and institutional information enables us to contact you about reviewing a manuscript. It is important that you note your email address as we use this as the preferred method to contact reviewers.
• Areas of interest or expertise are extremely important in identifying potential reviewers for a topic. We allow you to select several items, but ask that your list your main area of expertise as your first pick. That said, reviewers who merely have an interest in a topic insure that the manuscript can be understood by those in general practice who are not experts.
